FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about how our service works, who reviews your file, how pricing works, and how we protect your information.

Is United Traffic Tickets Defense a law firm?
No. We are a document preparation and case-tracking service. We are not a law firm; we do not provide legal advice; and we never guarantee outcomes. We prepare and track the paperwork for your traffic matter, with review by a California Certified Paralegal and attorney support when your case requires legal representation or a court appearance.
What does the free ticket scan include?
Upload a photo of your citation and our system reads the key fields (citation number, code section, court, date). We then flag potential issues for review and explain your options. The scan is always free — there is no charge and no obligation.
How does the process work?
It is a simple flow: 1) Take a photo of your citation, 2) our software reads it and flags potential issues for professional review, 3) you review your options and choose a route, and 4) we prepare your documents and track the case for you. A California Certified Paralegal reviews the file, and attorneys step in for court appearances and legal representation as needed.
What does "professional review" mean?
It means your file is reviewed by a California Certified Paralegal before it goes forward. For matters that require an attorney, a licensed California attorney reviews the file and appears in court for the client, as needed. Review is a human step in the process — not just automation.
How much does your service cost?
We offer clear, flat-fee options based on the complexity of your matter. You can see the pricing on our checkout screen when you choose a route, and there are no surprise add-on charges. The initial scan and consultation are free. See our Refund Policy for details.
Do you guarantee I won't have to pay my ticket?
No. We never guarantee outcomes. No honest service can promise that. What we guarantee is that we will prepare your documents carefully, review them, and track your case — and we will be clear with you about your options at every step.
Do you cover my courthouse?
Our primary focus is all of Los Angeles County — from Van Nuys and Chatsworth to Stanley Mosk in Downtown LA — and we work with drivers across every county and courthouse in California. See our courthouse pages for the courts we cover.
Is my information safe? I'm uploading my citation and license info.
We take your privacy seriously. Your citation photos, name, and driver's-license information are handled as confidential and are processed only to provide our service. We do not sell your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
I have an urgent court date or a warrant. What should I do?
Do not ignore an active warrant or an urgent court deadline. Contact the relevant court as soon as possible, and if you have a DUI, serious charge, or CDL at risk, please contact a licensed attorney immediately. Our educational guides can help you understand your options, but they are not a substitute for prompt legal counsel in urgent situations.
Can I track my case after I sign up?
Yes. Every order includes case tracking. You can check the status of your case any time using the tracking code we provide on this site.
